Narcissism, insecurity and impossible expectations, disguised as a ridiculous 1950s TV dance special. Everyone looks fabulous, everyone thinks they look better, until a mirror suggests otherwise. Maybe modern vanity is really the fear of not being enough.

Act I of Island of Misfits, an original 16 act musical film released one act at a time. We meet Mara, Vesper and an island where broken toys and forgotten souls wash ashore, asking what if the things the world gave up on were never truly lost.
